Please spread more awareness of this! I'm glad that people in the Philippines are now starting to open their eyes to this disorder because these people EXISTS! They can be your friend, your neighbor, your boyfriend / girlfriend, or even your parents! If you're in a relationship with a narc, cut your losses and find a way to get out ASAP! You can't fix this person. No one can. After all, in their delusional little mind, they are immortal Gods who can do no wrong (ironically, that they actually feel like shit inside). They lack empathy so they won't even feel sorry for you no matter how many times they hurt you. They will say sorry if they hurt you, but you can't feel any sincerity because they don't mean it. They don't need love from you, what they need from you is narcissistic supply and when you're no longer providing that, they'll leave you without a second thought. It hurts to leave a narc because relationships with them are unlike any other you have experienced before but in the long run, it will better for your mental and physical health! Make sure to keep your support network close and never tolerate bullshits from people who don't value you. Relationships or Friendships, it should be give or take. Not one-sided take, take, take from the other individual. God bless!

It's not a mental disorder, it's a personality disorder, buddy. There's a very clear difference. If you feel empathy, then you don't have narcissistic personality disorder because their huge hallmarks is the extreme lack of empathy, ika nga: "Manhid!". They don't care if they hurt people because they are selfish, and they cannot understand the concept of empathy. If you feel bad for hurting people, it seems to me that you are just a person who have done people wrong tapos you want to make amends and you are regretting the things you've done. Narcissist don't ever regret their actions,, and that's why they are called Narcissists, because in their mind, they are always right, and if they hurt you, it's because it's always YOUR fault and not theirs.

Ayoko na bumalik dun sa taong yun. Na trigger yung anxiety at depression ko 3 months ago. Hindi ko na kilala sarili ko dahil sa constant manipulation na ginagwa niya for 4 months. . I believe they can change but I won't ever attempt to do that for him. Nakaka drain po at nakakaquestion ng self worth at reality. Yun Uncle ko kc I suspect may Narcissistic personality disorder becoz may self importance sya, sinisigawan, pinapahiya wife nya, napipikon sa critism, nagwawala pag kinokontra opinyon nya. Pero mapagbigay sa kapitbahay/kamag-anak ng pagkain, gamit. He's an extrovert. Narcissistic pa kaya un ganun?

My parents are narcissist they had all this signs including smart-shaming,gaslighting,gossiper, always likes to yell,pathological liar, lack of empathy,feeling of self-entitled and very secretive etc. I'm 21 yr old still recovering from traumatic bonding and trying to set healthy boundaries and move on.

I have a friend na very nice and accommodating to me say at first and he would give me advice against abusive people in my life and after getting what he wanted he dumped me and months after he came back and this is where this rollercoaster of abuse emotionally started. He still used me to boost his ego by making me do things for his own benefit only, one sided lang. Everytime sinasabi ko sa kanya na he doesn't respect me and abuses me, refused to admit and he is just telling me he is just a friend who wants my help for him to get through his job using my skill. And until now I don't know how to leave because he always gaslight me, tells me I am crazy at may sakit sa ulo. He doesn't want to pay for all the works I did for him. My friends always calls me toxic even my family kasi I tolerated an abusive person like him na kahit may sinasabi na hindi maganda sayo ay patuloy pa rin. He refused to talk about his relationships and denied and questioned me if I asked about the girls he followed on social media telling me that I am insecure. He can't even call my name for two years of friendship and even his family is dependent on me to take care of his father na maysakit. I tried to block him but still unblock after a few hours pag di nya napapansin. He is kind to me lately kasi submission na ng reports, baka matrigger na di ako sumunod pero the demands are increasing. when will this stop?... :(
