Yeah, a lot of Mamamoo's songs work because of the harmonies they can produce with what are effectively three main singers and a rapper who was actually a trained vocalist before being converted to a rapper. Also Mamamoo's vocal style is just really unique even when they are singing their own individual pieces within a song. Even if you rolled out Taeyeon and Tiffany to help sing this, it would still be hard to capture that Mamamoo feel as their style is not as jazzy as Mamamoo's. That said, it was a good effort by Seohyun to sing a song many idols would not even attempt to cover because it is so hard to cover it well.
