Perhaps to the members, a month was not such a long time. But it was a meaningful enough period to take pause to think about the direction of their lives. Jin describes recovering the psychological state he had lost: Even in the midst of our busy schedule, I would always have a moment of thinking, 'Am I allowed to do this?' whenever I paused for a break. I tried hard to rid myself of this attitude then. To rest without guilt, to do all the things I wanted to do without holding myself back. What Jin had wanted was the small joys of ordinary life. He played games for whole days and met with friends. He even went on a fishing trip with SUGA. Jin recalls:
We went fishing for a travel content shoot" one time and SUGA said to me. "Should we try catching a big one in the Han River when we're back in Korea?" And we ended up really going, and the fishing was fun, but it was also the hwe and the soju we had on the boat that tasted so good. And that led to other fishing trips. Jin's attitude in enjoying and valuing such ordinary moments of life was a positive influence on the other members.

This was really sweet, and I loved your edits. 😊Jin is always there to lift up the other members, whether by being silly and making them laugh, or by listening carefully and offering his support. Suga and Jin have so much respect for each other, and they are far more similar than they appear. Perhaps that's why Suga seeks out Jin's advice, and why Jin always seems to know when Suga could use it - like when he wrote a letter to Suga and read it out loud at their first Japan Showcase in 2014.

Hyung means elder brother. Donsaengs mean younger brothers. So Jin is the only Hyung to Suga. Suga has to call Jin Hyung like the others. Anyone younger than anyone has to call them the older one Hyung cos they are the younger ones (donsaeng).
