I wouldn't call it friendship but rather professional trust and I guess their acceptance and tolerance of each other has been a long and arduous road. The problem is that they were "forced" to have the role of "dad mom" because they were the oldest while their personalities are diametrically opposed. That said, they have one thing in common: character! Which inevitably leads to some very awkward/spicy moments. But it’s clear that their relationship is quite close and I sincerely believe that Seonghwa is an anchor for Hongjoong when he has to make decisions.
