Hello! My name is Seonyong Hwang and im learning the piano in korea.
Pieces of Alkan le preux are extremely difficult to play.
This piece required the most difficult technique ever.
I wanted to play with no mistake but it was almost impossible to me:(

I can't believe how clean you managed to get this piece-it almost seems like Alkan designed it purposefully so that pianists for centuries to come were unable to play it, but you played it incredibly! This is really clean, and at a great tempo, in my opinion. I disagree with Lewenthal, Alkan's tempos can sometimes be unrealistic. I don't think this is one of Alkan's strong pieces, but it's nice to hear such a nice performance of it. Keep up the great work!

But this piece has no tempo, at least saying in metronome marks, it just says "dans un bon mouvement", which to quote the awesome pianist arthur cimirro while he explained why alkan does not impress him, "does not mean presto"
