If you want to come to Seoul and enjoy modern Korean culture, shopping, food, etc., you must go to Gangnam. If you take subway line 2, you can easily get to Gangnam.

Loved the "gloomy" weather. It's given an extra charm for the city. I'm impressed by how traffic flows graciously throughout the city's arteries. For a city of this size, it doesn't have a lot of traffic unlike Beijing, Shanghai, São Paulo, Mexico City, NYC etc. Also I liked the bus fleet.. they're small but there are lots of them everywhere...no articulated or bi-articulated buses at all 😀

For a City THAT BIG I cannot see much traffic jams. You should see Rome or Milan - you GO NUTS HERE! (...literally!...). Wide-open roads with at least three lanes, with (seemingly) very well organized traffic and most of all - probably the most important bit - DISCIPLINE from the drivers! I noticed the "50" (kilometers) speed limit, and all the cars slowing simultaneously and mantaining it. Here in Italy people park ALWAYS where they are not supposed to! - sometimes even in double or triple rows - leave their car in the middle of the street, with the emergency lights on, and then go the bar nearby to drink their coffee, creating jams that go for kilometers.

Personally, I prefer them over MOST European cities because they feel more modern and cooler. I don't wanna feel like I'm living in the medieval ages like the Euros do. Come on people, we living in the 21st century and imagine a city having zero skyscrapers. But that's just me. My opinion is quite unpopular cuz people think european cities are so cool and beautiful wow :O not really for me... it's just a matter of taste.
