Seoul '88 Athlete Profile Eleanor Holm

Met Ms. Holm in Ontario, Canada in 1976. She told us how she was a swimmer in Billy Rose's Aquacade at the Cleveland Exposition 1936-37. We were camping and she overheard we were swimmers from Cleveland. A wonderful and talented woman.

That would have been awesome! She seemed like she was a class act. Couldn't imagine running into her on a camping trip! I love watching this video from time to time. And I love the use of Steve Winwood's "The Finer Things" in the background. It brings back such nostalgic memories of high school for me.

I found out about her just a week ago after reading a book about the Berlin Olympics
