i think k-cafe has recently joined the k-wave culture, the cafes in the northern seoul has more local and unique vibe i think

I agree! Since many tourists / out-of-towners stick to more central areas, the cafes there are racing to keep up with the trends to keep crowds satisfied. I am so happy to live in a northern district where it's quieter and more residential, but still with so many great cafe options ☺
