Yonsei univ is a school where students who do well in Korea go to. This school has a long history and a lot of money. So they have many famous cheering songs and they can invite famous singers. Not all univ in Korea are like this.

But depending on your student club's budget, it varies from club to club, university to university - we however did have a campus student events where musicians and other acts were invited by student government. a typical itinerary for student festivals were: Week of Welcome Block Party - August Week of Welcome Comedy Jam - August Homecoming Parade - October Homecoming Carnival - October Homecoming Lip Sync - October Fall Concert - October Winter Weekend Comedy Show - February Music Festival - April Spring Weekend Comedy Show - April of course, who will be the artists at the concerts depends on the student gov's budget and who runs the gov. some year's we'd get really up and coming stars or A-listers, other yrs it'd be some nobody we'd never heard of, etc. * and it says "Music festival" but it was nothin like yonsei's level of festival. it just felt like a concert
