hey awesome video! I just moved to korea 2 weeks ago from america and i want to go to places like itaewon and gangnam because i heard it is super fun there, but i really don't want to go alone. do you have any advice on how to make friends in korea? im 19 and starting university next year but want to make friends before, thank you!

Hello, thank you for watching my video! Wow that‘s a big decision, congrats for moving and all the best in school next year :D Hmmm, that‘s a hard question. I noticed that evenings or night times there‘s a lot going on in the itaewon, hongdae & gangnam area. So even if you go out alone, you could go to the crowded places there, and maybe start a conversation with someone? For example there was a group of girls beside me in the busking spot in hongdae & as soon as they heard another girl speak in german, they started to talk to her and they actually went on a dinner together! :D so finding similarities between you and someone really helps on getting closer. You can also make friends on various apps before going out and speaking to people directly (bc it‘s not that easy to speak to others in real :3) but on those apps you have to be careful and choose the right people ☺️ There are also lots of youtube videos dedicated to this topic maybe those can help you out too.
