Beautifully done Carl. Can't say I'm a huge Journey fan, but I always really liked this song. And yes, Neil Schon is an amazing player. I prefer to play the 1st lick starting on the 12th fret of the B, and playing that box, which naturally sets up the bend for the G to A with with the 3rd finger. Dunno if correct but sounds ok to me. I know you said in the rhymn part, a lot of people play the first lick 'incorrectly', as in not like Neal. I say if it sounds good, do what is easier. It's all supposed to be fun. BTW: the official video for this song is hilariously bad.

I found it easier to do 13th and 11th frets on the g string after the 17th to 17th roll cause then your right back to the 12 fret maybe it’ll help someone else out but anyways awesome tutorial , this is a classic!

I've always loved the guitar playing of Neal Schon. He composed many timeless songs that have the staying power. Also Carl, I've been wanting to receive an answer if you may do a video tutorial of Husker Du's "Celebrated Summer" and X's "We're Having Much More Fun" or/(and) "White Girl".
