Sir, Article 50 of the constitution states that the Parliament consists President and two houses۔ Then How the President is part of executive?

President is primarily part of the executive branch, constitutionally, they are also considered a part of the legislative branch. Being Head of State he is part of both . But he has limited powers in both domains. In the executive branch, he acts on prime minister advice. He has ceremonial powers in both cases. In legislation, The President does not have the power to outright reject an act passed by Parliament but does have the authority to return a bill for reconsideration. According to Article 75 of the Constitution of Pakistan, the President can return a bill, other than a money bill, to the Parliament with a request for reconsideration within ten days of receiving it. If the bill is passed again by the Parliament, with or without amendments, and presented to the President, the President must give assent within ten days. If the President does not give assent within that period, the bill automatically becomes law. Likewise in the domain of the Executive, his work is just to sign summaries & appointment on advice of PM The President's role is largely ceremonial, with real executive power being vested in the Prime Minister and the Cabinet.
