Rambam followed Aristotle who today modern science has shown completely wrong. In fact quantum physics lends itself more towards the Zohar and ein suf ,resheemo, orr being the secrets of HaShem. The more I read Zohar the more I see quantum mechanics revealed . Read "mind over matter" by Lubavitch Rebbe. He goes into deep discussions with top physicists about Torah and modern science . What is interesting is DNA wise Sephardic Jews are far more diverse. for example I Match about 60% of all the Ashkeanzi Kits I run myself against on the Gedmatch site. I do not match all Sephardic kits though I do match a fair amount of them as well its interesting.
