Risa found some good products for us. I have very fair skin and transparent brows and lashes. She is right about most blonde shade brow pencils being off color in some way... Too red or too grey, etc. I got the Patrick Ta brow pencil in his version of blonde. His version reflects nature in my case. It's a great shade for me. I also purchased the Moon dance fragrance and I am wearing it daily now. Am loving it!

If you have oily skin but prefer a lihter coverage you can still get that from more full coverage foundation and use a lot less product. Make sure skin is moisturied. Bare with me here, take out a powder brush , yes a powder brush, and pump a small amount of the foundation out. Dip bush in work in small sections at a time by really buffing it into the skin.

I have tried so many mascaras and I have found that using the Lancôme Cils lash primer makes the mascara whether the Idole on top or L’Oréal telescopic apply and look so much better (at least for my lashes).

I just bought the Lancome Renergie Lift Makeup and the Teina Idole Ultra wear , all over concealer. I really love it !! My skin is very fair and normal to dry. The one by Mac, they used on your Mother has been discontinued. I’ve used the lancome makeup and concealer before and I like there makeup and their skin care products. They work well for me. I love your presentations, keep up the great work !!

Hi! I’m curious, where did you hear the MAC face and body has been discontinued? It’s currently still available at MAC stores, Ulta, Macy’s, etc. It’s been a staple for 20+ years, I honestly can’t see them phasing it out.

With you on lip gloss! As I've got older I find it more flattering than lipstick especially if it has a slight shimmer or light reflecting thing going on. My most used at the mo is Bareminerals Mineralist lip gloss balm in Love. It's a cool toned mauvey shade and v moisturising. Fyi they're doing a duo at the mo which is virtually two for one. I've already ordered it! I also love the Clinique pop lip gloss. It has hyaluronic acid in so feels great. My favourite colour is Adore U which goes with everything. At the cheaper end I love the Maybelline ones and also Essence does v nice ones. Btw Tati just showed some Catrice ones which have a swirly thing going on like a higher end one - thing it was Givenchy. They looked great. Emma x

Loved to watch this video, because i love to know what you love, although i have more dry sensitive skin, but wow, how experienced you are, explaining these products, i just love to learn from you!!!!! If i was allowed to shop at the American Sephora, i think i would try those American brands that are (still) hard to get here, like Tower 28, Lawles, GXVE, etc. Kulfi i also would love to try!!! I’m a newbie into this world of KZbin makeup tutorials, but I’ve found a few of you ladies that are my age, I’m 47, that have taught me SO much. I think it’d be fascinating if you guys would come together and do a half-day seminar, or a series of zoom sessions, or KZbin tutorials, where you guys took ALL of your strengths and put them together for MY/OUR benefit. Risa, you have the makeup artist skills and knowledge that is beyond compare, and you bring in that West Coast vibe. Jen Phelps brings in the ability to dupe ANY luxury item and give the viewer, who’s not able to use that item for one reason or another, a matched product that is so incredibly close to the luxury item that it’s sometimes even better than the original… and she has a great head for business. She, also, brings a more mature face to the table, and the East Coast scene. MandyLea is the girl next door. She’s your best friend. She’s relatable. She’s always fresh-faced, and she represents stylish moms, who want to look and be trendy, while not looking ridiculous. And, she can do it with luxury or drugstore goods. She’s, also, more of a Midwest woman. Though I don’t know exactly where she’s from, EVERYTHING in me says she’s from Utah. She just looks like Utah! And, then, there’s Ali Andrea… the taste of Europe. She brings the flair of print and the catwalk to the table, as well as the Parisian vibe. To finish things off… Laniemariebeauty could give us easy, but new and stylish options for our hair in the coming months as we approach the holidays and bad weather in a year that the Farmer’s Almanac says is going to be a pretty brutal one for us all. I’d LOVE to see this happen! How can we make my dream a reality?

If you prefer matte or satin shadows, I would suggest either the Master Mattes or Major Dimensions palette. Anastasia Beverly Hills just came out with two mini palettes that look ideal for a nice combo of matte and shimmer without being overwhelming.

I love the Mac Radiant Skin tint but Sephora has stopped carrying it. I only purchased it in June so not sure why but they are losing more and more of my business between discontinuing products and constantly being out of stock.

Hi Risa You've mentioned your line with bk beauty, I've watched the dedicated videos, but couldn't decide what would be best for me. In the past I bought once drugstore lashes thay were so "natural" it didn't do anything. I wanted to ask you, after getting feedback from other women, with little to no experience with lashes, what would be the best option if I want to see results. I honestly think you’d like Martini best. If you want a full strip, try Dayclub, but make sure you trim them to fit your eyes shape!

I love Charlotte Tilbury products but I will never purchase skincare from her again. Both the large refillable glass magic cream and eye cream completely separated after four months and were unfortunately unsalvageable. I am willing to spend for high quality products, but to have both become unusable sadly turned me off of taking a chance on anymore skincare from Charlotte Tilbury.

I’m a makeup and skincare junkie and I take excellent care of all that I collect. It could have been a production fluke because both were purchased from her website at the same time. That being said, I’m still addicted to her makeup…perhaps obsessed is a better word!
