✨I’m still waiting on my Sephora parcels to arrive. When first trying perfumes, I find it helpful to spray onto a piece of tissue or paper. I find that helps to follow the scent profile, rather than spritzing into the air. That way you can see how it smells 30 min, an hour, or several hours later. Then I can compare it to how it unfolds on my skin.

I picked up TF’s Cafe Rose on the final day of the sale, after spraying a tester in store. The coffee note was the absolute last that I noticed in the wear down. But I got a bit on my watch and continued to smell traces of the fragrance a day later. I HAD to get it! Hopefully you enjoy it! ❤

I basically restocked my diehards..foundation, moisturizer, cjeansing balm, eye serum, setting spray, etc. As far as new goes, I got the Daness Myricks Groundwork matte palette. For a one and done eye shadow fan like me, it's the best palette! And I really like the different formulas of the shades. Oh! I did buy the 3 wick Nest Moraccan Amber candle. Lovvve! My Holiday version still has plenty of wax left for this Christmas 🎄.

I got some gifts for my mom and sister and 2 foundations to try (nars and dior). Dont like the nars so it’s going back. Still waiting on the dior tl arrive. I also got some tatcha skincare and the women’s fragrance sampler. I think i want to get the tom ford ombre leather which is in the set and the full size is more than the scent so made sense.

I love the WA kit. The petal blush is richer and a beautiful universal colour. My favourite stick blush is still mimi & hoping that comes out in powder form. I waffled over the brush set but $465 cdn was too much even at 20% with all the other stuff in my cart.

That being said, I’m asking for help finding a cream blush that has a reddish undertone (I love the shade of Bobbi Brown powder blush in Stonestreet-thanks Michele from many, many videos ago). I had one from Clove-Hallow that was great but it went bad and they are no longer in business. Thanks Michele and thanks friends.

You can take a look at Patrick Ta blushes, there’s one called She’s Baked (a rich terracota). It’s a powder and cream blush in one. His line has many options, so you can see some options there. Hope that helps.

I know your other video was more the nesting/candle topic, but I'm curious about your experiences with the Lafco candles. I put two out yesterday, Cinnamon Bark and Hazelnut Praline, and I'm very underwhelmed by the scent throw. The vessels are pretty, but I was expecting much more in terms of throw like Byredo and Diptyque. Maybe it's the scents I got, but it's hard to wrap my head around an underwhelming cinnamon.

The new Cafe Rose by Tom Ford is so different than the old one. I have the old one which was previously in the private collection, the one with the purple sticker. It was more deep and smelled more rounded and I guess more of a nighttime scent. The new one is lighter and more sweet. Such a disappointment. They now redid Azure Lime as well, which I heard they changed too. Ugh!

So I’m so ecstatic that you got the Tom Ford Cafe Rose as well so we can compare notes. This is an interesting as I got it as a birthday gift but I had tried it in store with someone else. It smelled horrible on her but amazing on me. It smells spicy on me but when the Sephora salesperson said she uses it and only gets the rose notes… so it’s definitely a chameleon type of scent that changes depending on your body chemistry. I was looking for the larger candle from Jo Malone and I didn’t see that one. I ended up buying the Pine and Eucalyptus candle which reminds me of when I used to buy real Christmas trees… I looked at the WA brushes but passed because I want to get the Sonia G ones.

Darn. Sorry that you couldn't smell the coffee scent in the TF perfume. It sounds amazing, but i would be disappointed as well if I couldn't smell coffee. I don't know if you like the Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume, but Notdstrom is doing a 15% off. I grabbed it. It's one of my favorites. Glad you got your orders. Im still waiting on 2. Beautiful YSL quad. Hi Michelle! I purchased a couple Tom Ford Quads: Nude Dip and De la Creme; which I am absolutely loving! I also purchased the Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit Candle, Dior 1-minute mask, Dior Dreamskin, Tata Harper 5 minute glow mask set, and gifts for my sister, a Dior palette, Laniege lip masks, and some L'Occitane hand creams. I have a question for you on the Lamer Serums! 😊 So I am 47 and peri-menopausal with some afternoon flushing & redness to my nose, chin, cheeks. I know Lamer can help with soothing red & irritated skin. I'm thinking of trying the Concentrate Serum or the Emulsion. Any thoughts on these?

Hi Sarah, I think the LeMer serums are good for calming skin but I would actually recommend the True Botanicals Chebula active serum when it comes to more redness and issues that stem from "within"

Hi! I do wear more than ten actually. Perfumes "expire" at different rates - some after a year or so, while others closer to 8-10 years.

It's becuase the original Cafe Rose was part of the private blend collection which is much better quality than the signature collection.
