As a former dancer and figure skater, I really appreciate Michael’s footwork as he dances. Absolutely sick!!!! I personally like this live performance better because you get the entire package from MJ: singing, dancing, him working so hard for the audience that he sweats like a lawn sprinkler! At the beginning it said on the lower left corner where this performance was held: Oakland, California. It’s a city only a bridge drive away from San Francisco.

Michael singing the entire song live in full head voice! One of his specialities. As a high tenor, he had an amazing, powerful and crystal clear upper range (headvoice)

Shiny is Micheal Jackson 😂😂❤❤. He sang many of his songs sped up or different to the album version so that it was more raw and authentic every time. One of his dancers or Jennifer Baton one of his main concert said this in an interview, as far as i remember 😊

They switched up the concerts a lot in this video. They start in 1979 in Oakland, when he had a white shirt, then they move to 1981 in Los Angeles, when he had a sparkly shirt. They showed another 1979 concert in New Orleans as well. His brothers were in the back, as he did the Destiny(1979) and Triumph(1981) Tours with them.

Michael really used to get very nervous before tours . He usually didn't eat and many times has dehydration collapse and the doctors give him intravenous nutrition as he also very picky in his food . And due to exhaustion of entire performance of 2 hours many times he needed oxygen after the show😢😢. What makes Michael different that he really put his everything in his songs and performances to make his fans happy and he wanted to help and use his power for good and that what makes him special, very special to me ❤❤❤❤

@@Luvumj2 relax friend 🌹🌹i know that he never get nervous about performing or the creative process it self but i was talking from other perspective as he get nervous because the perfectionist he was and even his family said that because of his hardworking before tours he barely ate anything and that lead him to dehydration some times and also the perfectionist he was he gave his all on stage ( not like artist these day) till he needed oxygen after some shows and u can see how tired he was at the end of some concerts of dangerous tour . And don't forget he got nervous of flights . Sooo don't get me wrong and Michael Jackson himself said in his documentary that he didn't likes tours because how tiring they were .

Michael loved glitter everywhere which was an influence of his favorite Disney character Tinker Bell. His costume designer Michael Bush (since the BAD tour) told that Michael said to him. "I need more (fairy) dust" (referring to Tinkerbell from Peter Pan) when he wanted to describe that something needed more glitter and shine.

Michael would lose pounds doing his shows. His wardrobe team had to make several of same stage outfits in different sizes in order to keep his clothes fitting his slim frame.

For the record, the Destiny Tour was in 1979 (the opening video) and the Triumph Tour was in 1981 (the video from 2:28 forward cuts back and forth; ALL of the audio is from the "Jacksons Live" album released in late 1981). Someone spliced all of it together for this.

I'm with you on this one, too, Seph. While this live version is solid, I do prefer the recorded version. The vocals on this tune are really high and soft. Michael and his brothers do a really good job of singing them, but it's hard to match the nuances of the studio production. "The whole front row is like drenched, right now. It's like Sea World or something!" Best line of the reaction! Very funny!

This is the triumph tour. The same tour you watched previously. But not the same concert. Some videos have better quality than others.(don't know exactly why). But after Bad era you gonna find a lot more full HD videos.

Actually the shirt was white it’s just that in the 80s is when Micheal liked rhinestones and wears them. That’s even why he wears white socks short pants and black loafers shoes, is so that the audience will Focus on his feet in his dancing. And they are his brothers on the background. Also he smiled after spinning 2 and a half times in 5:14 because he’s doing that shuffle move that he did in bad

Michael didn't like the violins in the song. Quincy Jones on Michael Jackson: "Michael wanted me to take off the violins in the intro to 'Don't Stop Till You Get Enough'. Michael said: It's messed up my groove. I told Michael: "No way." In the concerts Michael had then taken the opportunity and removed the violins.
