SEPTA Buses return to Richmond & Westmoreland Loop in 2023

Ah yes I love seeing this. This really reminds me of the old days before they remade the loop. Neoplans, D40lf, and Nabis going in and out of the loop every 10 - 15 mins. Thank you for this video reminding me the old days Dash. (Edit to this): Still sad to hear that the 2005-2006s are going out with the de41lfs. Catch them while y’all can because they are dying quick and becoming hard to find. The lines for me, since I only I see it near Willow groove or fern rock, is on the 57, 47, and the 95 for me. So just a quick reminder for people to catch them soon as they are going out with the 2023 xde40s coming in to replace them as 3530, 3533, and 2 others that I don’t know has entered service.

Don't the trolleys run through here? I know the 15 trolley showed up as a graphic in the video indicating that it does but I remember seeing images of the Kawasaki single-ended cars pulling in here at this location. However I mostly see PCCs serving the Route 15. I know I'm in the minority but I'm more of a Kawasaki fan. I would love to ride the Kawasaki car serving the Route 15, especially from or at this location.

PCC-II cars operate on the 15. They will return in the fall (supposedly) and I will return to this location for more footage when they do.

If you mean their existence, the remaining will soon be retired with the XED40 series replacing them.
