If you want something heavier and more melodic, I recommend their songs "Fearless, Azalea, Sing Your Heart Out, Blaze, Reminiscence, Random"

Enjoyed the reaction. This song they really went for more of a rhythmic feel than melodic. Their other songs do tend to be more melodic. Generally, they do stay more on the hard rock side than heavy metal. Both guitarist have the ability to shred and will showcase that in their live shows. But when it comes to their songs, they write their solos more to fit the song than showing off what they can do. As a guitarist myself, I respect that. Jayoung, the vocalist is only showing off a fraction of her ability in this video. That girl can wail!

This is a little less melodic than they normally do. Check their song "Fearless", and they are quite variable, so I wouldn't do only this song; they have others, many of which I personally prefer. Generally they straddle the border between hard rock, a tiny bit of metal and pop, to appeal to both the rock and the K-pop audience I think. That's why the mix, I believe: Korea doesn't have much experience with rock, at least in the mainstream, and they couldn't go for full metal if they want to sell. But the strategy seems to be successful, they have fans both from the rock side and the K-pop side, and apparently a sizable Lesbian fan contingent. No wonder. More ballady would be "Azalea". But almost any of their songs is more melodic than Victory.

You Tube seems to have deleted my detailed comment, so here's the shorter version. I'm seeing Rolling Quartz in Sydney on Sunday, looking forward to it, as by all reports it is a ripper show. Oh, and further suggestions, Azalea, Blaze and Reminiscence. I dont think Victory is the best representation of their great musicianship. Cheers from Oz.🇦🇺

The things I don't like that are missing compared to their previous songs: - no proper solo part/breakdown - mixing on the bass kinda low But still not the least song I like from them. Their song Nazababara is the one which polarised the fans heavily because it was too poppy. Not even giving the drummer (Yeongeun) to show off something since the drumming also way simpler. They debuted around covid era. Decided to add a remake of Good Night from Dreamcatcher (rock-based kpop group) for their first EP. Kinda good idea to build the root of the fanbase to stay exist, because fans from Dreamcatcher also (finally) looking for Rolling Quartz (including me). They're under a small company, and the fact that rock is hard to exist in Korean market made them struggling locally. But they have stronger fanbase internationally (same like Dreamcatcher) so in the end they could perform in US and Europe already and fund themselves to stay exist. However another band named DIH are currently struggling to exist, based on what people said and also I haven't seen them popped up

RQ are fantastic live, I saw them in London earlier this year. For a taste of them live check out ‘Rock & Roll Paradise with Drum Solo’. Fearless, Holler and Azalea are better MVs than Victory, in my opinion. Thanks.

Victory is more or less experimental and not among my favorites of theirs. All your wishes will come true if you explore more. They're about to tour in Australia. Consider: [MV] Fearless 피어리스 by Rolling Quartz 롤링쿼츠, or [MV] Azalea by Rolling Quartz (Eng/Esp Sub) 진달래꽃 by 롤링쿼츠.
