Application: As you make personal or even political decisions, remember that you do so not only for your own good but for the good of the diverse body of Christ. Consider how you can pray that God’s glory would be exhibited through the many human vessels around you, including yourself. Interrogate your own assumptions about groups of people: If you think that some groups of people are less intelligent than others, less susceptible to the Gospel than others, or inferior in any other way, you are implicitly denying them the dignity of the image of God. Instead, look to the second greatest commandment: Love your neighbor as yourself.
