James is feeling guilty about Leela getting hurt because of him and is making a fuss over her, which Ste misinterprets. Ste tells James he's proud of how he's let go of Salon de The and Marnie and they have a tender moment before Norma interupts and suggests that James had a hand in what happened at the gym. James confesses and Ste is angry. Donna-Marie, Leela and Grace discuss James's behaviour and what to do about it and Leela says it's up to Ste. James confronts Norma and she tells him not only was her dropping him in it a lesson that actions have consequences but that she now owes him again. Meanwhile Ste goes to the police and says he wants to make a witness statement, naming James in relation to the attack...
