The latch on the crock-pot is for transporting the pot after it's cooked not while it's cooking. You might crack the lid if it's latched while you're cooking no pressure can escape.....maybe cook while you are sleeping when it's finished cooking you can latch it. :)

If I was working my trade as an electrician with your hours I would be a millionaire, seems your are at work 24/7 (even when you are not working) . You pick your poison JBG, I love trucks and trucking, but I can't afford to work for less money and be away from home, I make real good money and home every day. If I was on the road doing electrial work (which I plan to do soon) I make top dollar. Construction workers can clear $3500 -$4000 a week clear, plus pension money that builds in a separate account if they were working your hours in canada 🇨🇦, all the best JBG.
