Thank you so much, K! :) And thank you so much for doing the buddy colour with me! I don't do very many of them at all and it was super special to be able to do one with you and Maia. :)

I am so glad to know there are others in the coloring community who have trouble visualizing a page before you start. I actually feel like I don't have that DNA strand or whatever it is. I do my coloring exactly like you. Pick up a pencil and start! Very lovely mandala!!

I absolutely LOVE how the black moth/butterfly page turned out! It’s probably one of those pages that you wouldn’t be able to recreate if you tried because of all the different things you did and products you used, and even though it didn’t turn out like you originally envisioned, I think it turned out stunning. Way to persevere through the page and get it done.

Awww... Thank you! :) Truthfully - I'm not sure I could reproduce most of my pages. :) Because my brain doesn't seem able to "picture" a page before I start, I just kind of start colouring and whatever happens, happens. But it also means that I'm never entirely sure how to reproduce what I've done. Some of the more simple, straightforward techniques I try I can usually reproduce but other... not so much. ;) :)

I view it all as a learning process. Because if I just keep colouring the same way over and over again, unless I’m just doing it for relaxation (like basic marker work, putting colour on paper), the hobby will get stagnant and I won’t enjoy it as much anymore. Some pages turn out fantastic and some… not so much. But I still enjoy the process and if I don’t like how something turned out, knowing that maybe I should be thankful I learned from it… even if I sometimes cringe when I look at it! 😂

Hi, love your videos! I especially loved the metallic shine on the water done with Neocolor 1. You said you put the crayon down and then buffed it to get the shine. How do you “buff”? Does it transfer to the opposite page or do you put paper between? Aloha Sharon from Hawaii

I put a protector sheet in between my pages just in case. :) Hope that helps! And hello back from Canada! :)

So how do you blend it altogether to make it look so cohesive. It’s beautiful. Do you use your fingers or a blending tool?
@colouringchemist2 ай бұрын
Do you mean the tempera paint stick background? I go over the matte colours with one of the more sheer metallic sticks. The tempera paint dries so quickly that you really can't blend them. The more sheet metallic tempera paint helps to hide some of the streakiness and non-blending. :)

Can I ask what black pen did you use for the background on a few of the pages…I think you said it was a zig something? It looks like black velvet…no streaks at all!
@colouringchemistАй бұрын
Absolutely! It's a Zig Art & Graphic Twin marker - I buy them through open stock from Marker Supply online: www.markersupply.com/zigartgrtwma.html They're a water-based ink marker but they are quite "juicy" so definitely do a test first to make sure the ink isn't going to bleed through or ghost through your page. :) Hope that helps!
