What you said about family was so poignant. Last year my sister literally told me that she didn't trust me because of my religious (Bible believing Christian) and political beliefs (Conservative). We aren't welcome in her home. It literally broke me and my husband's heart. It has affected our whole family. I feel essentially like I have no family besides my husband and his family. I have seen this over and over, Christians being discarded by their family. It is heartbreaking. We have to look outside normal family groups for family.

You guys have a wonderful, caring pastor/shepherd to warn about movies, books etc. based on the Bible & Jesus. He's NOT afraid and that's an awesome quality. Movie makers must take liberties to tell a moving and entertaining story which is how people can pick up misleading ideas. Remember Jesus is GOD in human flesh! He was FULL of the Spirit and recognized as someone who "spoke with authority". We need to get our Truth and our vision of Jesus from the scriptures and less from Hollywood. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten you. The Bible is God's very OWN words!

I love that I stumbled upon this Channel several years ago. I have a great Bible Preaching Teaching Church here in Savannah GA (and there are a lot of woke churches here, in Savannah but ours is NOT) and it is so great that our Pastor will be preaching and teaching close to and some times the same scriptures you are and I know that tells me that I belong to the Best church in Savannah and I listen to good, God Believing, Teaching Church also. A former Southern Oregon Resident.

I love the Chosen series. Jesus is 100 percent God and 100 percent human . The Chosen shows the human side of Jesus like no other Christian movie and people can identify with human side while learning about the God side . . I like this church and everybody has a right to their opinion. God bless.

I never even heard of The Chosen until Pastor Brett mentioned it. I don't put much faith (pun unintended) in "Christian" movies, having seen a variety of them going back as far as Charlton Heston as Moses, (most of these were heavily Catholic coordinated, with Peter having a holy glow about him as the movie portrays him as the leader of Christianity, (never mind that God appointed Paul, not Peter, to travel the known world and spread the Gospel to the Gentiles while Peter and the rest mostly stayed around Israel.) They never simply stick to the script (the Bible).

Whew, what a ride we are on. I had someone say to me just last week.." if you get to heaven save me a seat. " i litterly stepped back and said, "save a seat for you? Are you out of your mind? I'm not saving you no seat. That isn't up to me who sits at that table. That's God's party and he sets the guest list. Man, if you don't have your invitation yet, you better get things right Now. " I walked away mumbling to myself, "who do you think you are asking me to save you a seat? God would be coming down on me so fast. Inviting people to his party ." LOL, no I didn't walk away. I actually said, " Let me tell how you KNOW you have an invitation. "

Pastor Brett.. I love all your teachings except your comments about the chosen. It is a fact that the chosen has brought so many people to Christ and has been an anointing and blessing for everyone that has viewed it. I truly believe you should not comment on a project that God has anointed. God will use many avenues and the chosen is one of the magnificent ones. But I want to reiterate that I follow you and love your teachings! Please be a little bit more open-minded about the chosen. It is after all a TV show and they do take artistic license for sure but that's okay!
