Ive recently started reading Shirley Jackson and absolutely love her, especially her short stories. I think it’s magical how she can suck you into a story of only a few pages, and let you get to know a character by just one small scene out of their lives.

I am so looking forward to it! Sounds like Salinger's short stories.

Great haul, you got a really interesting range of books. I'm always surprised to see how short The Picture of Dorian Grey really is - I read it when I was probably about 17/18, when I didn't read a lot, and it seemed like a serious tome. Foundation and Flatland both sound intriguing. Good luck with your business plans!

The Lottery by Shirley Jackson is one of the best short stories ever IMO. Also, I love Topping & Company. :)

I just found your channel today and I love it! I love that you just read what ever and not a bunch of YA novels. It's hard to find a channel that is not just mainly YA. Watching your videos has made me want to make my own channel soon more than I already did. I think my channel is gonna have videos on bookies things, Alopecia, maybe some vloging but idk for sure yet

Dorian Gray is one of my all-time favourites. I owned a copy once that had the transcript of Oscar Wilde’s testimony during his trial in the introduction. Every time I read Dorian Gray I get something new out of it. Well worth a re-read.

The foundation trilogy is what got me into sci-fi back in the day and it's still my favourite sci-fi series of all times. Hope you enjoy it!

Fist I hope you will get well soon and good luck with your new business. I admire your courage for starting your own business and quiting your day job. I know it was a hard decision for me to make, but I never regretted it for a second. Best of luck to you 😉😊

I bought The Glass Bead Game on a whim last month and I've not felt quite up to the challenge yet but hopefully I will soon. I hope you enjoy it whenever you read it. :)

best of luck with the business! I'm starting Foundation, it's always been on the periphery of my to-read list so this is the nudge I needed haha

Krysten Ritter writes?!?! That is SO EXCITING! I love her. But, that doesn't necessarily mean she can write. Looking forward to hearing about it :)
