In a world where so many September tutorials suck, this one doesn't! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent!

MAN from one keyboard player to another. You just saved me for this gig. I was supposed to play this song and I completely needed the original arrangement. Great playing! TYSM!

I really have to agree with what everyone's saying here. Your arrangements are precise and accurate against the original - a great source for my arrangements. Your playing's great too!

Extremely well done! One of my fav songs from one of my fav bands. You can't listen to this and not want to move like you did in the video.

Best tutorial on this tune that I've yet to hear. Accurate in terms of the actual parts. Not a lame attempt at covering a fairly difficult song. It's not difficult in terms of the harmonies but in terms of it's orchestration, there's a lot happening. It's easy to be busy and play a whole lot of nothing. About all that accomplishes is stepping on the vocals and irritating the folks who are trying to sing it. This guy does not do that. Or, on the opposite side of the spectrum, it can sound thin and empty. Again, not the case here. Great feel also. That's another huge factor. Well done

Wow bro thank you or in German dankneschon I learned how to play following your hand movements but have you considered a piano tutorial. For some side money, you would make a killing teaching music bro, just to kids. I am sure they would LOVE to play old school jams like Earth Wind and Fire. German Russian American here, I am classically trained, I love playing Russian folk music and classical but funk is fun to play on the piano. Well done bro bravo and I like how you played to the BEAT. Most people who are NOT trained will play the right notes but the beat is off, either they play too slow or too fast. They might also play the parts they know well fast but struggle on the tougher parts. Well done and bravo.

@@GoodStart_llc Do you have a similar version of EW&F's "Reasons"? One if the group's I'm in wants to do that tune. Your performance of September helped me to decipher how to condense yet cover a number of parts and to still make it sound FULL in a 4 piece band.

Which sound is that for the brass?
@GoodStart_llc7 жыл бұрын
It's a combination of about 4 horn patches that I layered in the Roland Fantom G6, unfortunately I am away from my keyboards for the next couple of months, so I won't be able to tell you the exact names of the patches I used.

Not everybody can afford a whole brass section, strings section and perhaps a dozen additional musicians who tend to the various instruments you know...
