Most heat protectants that you spray in your hair that are wet are supposed to be used shortly after you spray it in before it dries in your hair. The point is that the liquid part of it gets heated and steams off instead of the moisture held in your hair, and if it offers other benefits (I use one by TIGI that offers UV protection) those are sealed to your hair cuticle by the heat. You can wait for it to dry, but if you do you're kind of missing the purpose of the product. It doesn't harm your hair, but that's not really how it's supposed to be used. I'm glad you found a product that works for you and how you want to use it though!

+shopshopbop Its not recommended but some straighteners are made to dry as it straightens so you use it on wet hair. I never will because the damage is insane
