TONY LEACH It amazes me how, after all the ugly things that Micki lived within the industry, her eyes reflect an almost childlike naivety. Her look is clean and sane, but unfortunately I think there is also some sadness and loneliness too. She is a good girl.

I don't know. It's like who was the best singer, John or Paul..or maybe George? I have been lucky enough to have seen each of these girls turn in spectacular performances and that is what made them so great. Each one excels on their own and together their intricate harmonies were spellbinding. Four extremely talented ladies who were together for too short a times.

After so many years, she may have become unrecognizable as Bridget Fonda. Recently Bridget was recognized only because she was her son together. Journalists and photographers would otherwise never have recognized her. Micki has no children...............

Micki was not only the most experienced member of the band. But she was also the oldest member of the band. If people realized how old she was when this was filmed in 2003 ( she was 48 yrs old ~ her b-day is in July), you'd fall off your chairs. Absolutely beautiful.

Susan Thomas (mikki steele) is VERY BEAUTIFUL! She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. I like her voice too. It's big and beautiful. Her face is a masterpiece of an artist and God's! Micki's voice is the best voice in Bangles. And a great bassist! She plays so well in Bass and I like her posture.

63 Rambler We all miss Michael. Btw. My parents gave me my first car when I was 16, it was pearl white 1963 Rambler Ambassador. It had a 327 V8, 3-speed auto, power steering & brakes, and positraction. I loved that car. It was faster than most suspected. What 63 did u have?

I'm pretty sure that the label had something to do with changing those lyrics. Because I know that Michael Steele was a huge Alex Chilton fan and she would have never wanted to change the lyrics. In fact I think that she liked the song because of that particular line. She liked to push the boundaries of the band and it's cleaner image that they were trying to portray. You know how those industry suit people are. Ever since the reunion of the Bangles she sticks to the original lyrics. They have control over their music now unlike in the 80s.

Upon further watching it seems the lyrics are changed here as well. They changed the she to he. :( Bummer. That's corporate America for you. I know that when they play it live for their true fans they sing it the way it was written by Alex Chilton. I've seen a few videos on here with the full original lyrics. How does she keep it all straight in her head? But then again she always seems hyper aware of where she is and who she's around.

I'm not really a Bangles fan, but Micki is great. She's fantastic on this song. Being a bassist, I may have a slight bias. I hope she's doing well too. It's strange that she completely dropped off the radar. Most musicians, even after retirement, still make occasional performances or public appearances.

I saw one of the last Bangles tour shows, Fullerton 1989, and gotta say that Michael has the hugest mouth ever seen on a rock star, excluding one or two famous ones. Her lips were bright red, and you could see them from any distance and any corner of the room--very impressive.
