Furniture was built at the furniture makers place and then brought home. Those days everyone in the town worked with their hands. Shoemaker, furniture joiner, carpenter, builders, farmers etc. I miss those days.

Fact! Someone said that’s because it was REAL “wood”! Makes sense! Back in the day, there was putting things together!

That horse was saying "sup" after his hair flip...he belongs to the man in the car, they speak the same language. They're the Sups. You've got piano man, Screamin' Steven up in your house and Mariah outside up in your tree ready to sing you Christmas songs.🎄 I love the Spiderman, he just seems to be everywhere...all of that crime fighting and all. Loud Laura giving her clean, sing and scream lessons..spicey🌶👍🏻

About the furniture, it's because we grew up in an era when things were built out of wood. Now, everything's cheap particle board, shoved in a box, packed with 1 allen wrench, 3000 screws and a folded piece of paper with 4 instructions on it

We never had to put any furniture together back in the day. It was ready when we bought it.

I agree, when my mom passed. She had this huge heavy solid dresser from the 70s. My brother and I was trying to figure out how to take it out the room and we even removed the door frames. No way that dresser was getting out the room. We stood there thinking how the hell they delivered this dresser in the apartment. All these furniture was built already in the warehouses. Crazy plus furniture back then was better than it is now.

I remember when I had ordered some couches and and I'm like you I'm thinking they're going to come fully assembled know they came in boxes and I had to assemble them so now I have to be a furniture technician you have to cut the instructions they're like a GPS they take you all around the world and you just wanted to go across the street, and no disrespect to the inventor of the GPS is just now that it's another's hands it'll take you all around the world and you just want to go across the street 🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️

Facts. My grandmother passed last year. Parents did an estate sale and couldn't sell her dinning room table. She gotten it as a wedding gift so had it for 70 years. great shape but no way to dismantle or break it down to smaller parts. Dad figured out how to get it out but took 4 grown men to do it due to weight and angles to get it out. The house literally falling apart but there was this table still strong as ever. In my parents house they have a pool table. Real nice one. couldnt figure out how to get rid of it as they dont play and was taking up room in basement to do a re model. It came with the house. Previous owner was son of the guy that built the house. Found out from the son that when the house was being built they put the pool table in before building the rest of the house. That pool table is forever a part of the house now LOL.
