At the end of our "Skypiea" arc, the party freed the population of the sky island, who were living in a oppressive theocracy and didn't know about the world below then; they also never saw rain (because their city was above all clouds of the sky). @@Alistair I remember when Nickelback was huge and the hate was real, even I got in on it bc I was a stupid teenager and wanted to be "cool". Now in retrospect we can enjoy it bc you're right, the overplaying of the music contributed to the hate. But unlike a lot of manufacturered pop acts, Nickelback was a legit band with some great tunes, and Chad Kroger legit figured out a hit making formula (he actually talks about it). They're a bit too polished for my tastes to say I'm a fan, but they have a few songs I legitimately really enjoy

Honestly, for me it was never the voice but always the terrible pop rock sound they had. They sound like a tame version of 2007 green day gone rock on many of their newer stuff. But All the right Reasons is a really good album imo.
