When I was first introduced to EWF, it wasn't mainstream. I went to a small club in Manchester, UK, called Rafters, where they played what was deemed to be underground, not mainstream music: funk, jazz funk, jazz fusion, etc. I felt special that I was listening to this while the populous was listening to generic pop of the moment, every Saturday night as the club emptied Beijo was played as the outro, and as patrons left the club we would scat the song echoing off the buildings at 1am, great memories, the best of times!

The sax solo sounds just like the late great Don Myrick.EWF/Ramsey Lewis originally did this song together.Maurice White and Jon Lind wrote it.This song was a surprise hit back in 1974.I was 13 years old at the time.Then EWF did it on their Gratitude album.IMO the greatest live album of all time.Johnny Graham did the studio guitar intro,Al McKay did the live intro. You guys and gals sound super awesome,keep up the great work!
