Living in a northern area where it does hit minus- 40F or colder the odd time, our septic tanks are definitely buried alot deeper than the one shown.... and a number of individuals often have "lagoons" instead of septic fields...One needs a good drop to their sewer, and drain field, as during spring run off and high water, you dont need your sewer flooding or backing up...
