El cantante Derreck va sobrado tiene un chorro de voz imponente, con el tiempo a mejorado mucho Casagrande una auténtica máquina en la batería., actualmente mi batería favorito Aún no estoy recuperado del stock de la desaparición de los Sepultura originales, pero reconozco que buscaron su camino y lo están haciendo muy bien Lo único que no me gusta de estos Sepultura del 2018 que sólo tengan una guitarra, por lo demás los discos actuales me gustan bastante Repito que poderío vocal del cantante Saludos desde España

I think Sepultura these days are fucking amazing, and Machine Messiah is probably one of there best albums to date. The are so skilled musicians, and I think Derrick has the right energy to be front man of Sepultura. His voice is sometimes to compact, but way better than Max in 2018, and that's important, for me. Max was amazing in the past, but now he is a shadow of his former self.

It's funny to see comments that are like, they need a second guitar, or that Max and Igor are the real Sepultura. Well, Igor stayed for 10 more years before leaving. Even without another guitar it sounds great, because Max is a shitty guitar player to begin with. He barely plays when on stage, mediocre is giving him way to much credit. This is a much tighter band honestly. And now that Max and Igor thought of the fantastic idea of going on tour playing the old stuff, Arise and Beneath the Remains. Talk about looking for a job. Anyway, even though I'm not a big fan of Sepultura, I do respect that they've kept up the effort and are still a very active band. Besides, most of the sound of Sepultura came from Kisser. Without him, the Sepultura you all know and love wouldn't exist. Who knows if there would have been better albums. It is what it is, but there's no other "real" Sepultura than the one in Brasil. Sorry Cavalera fans, stick with your Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy.

@@davidpearson6346 what? Bro just search for a recent show from CC, if it wasn't for Marc Rizzo basically carrying the entire band it would be completely shit. Max barely plays the songs as they are supposed to be played, and has no voice anymore, and Igor still speeding the fuck of the tempos of the songs as he always did, wich is very unprofessional, nothing more to say here. And don't even mention Soulfly, wich started as a nu metal band, because it was the cool thing at the time, then turned back to realising generic Thrash metal, once nu metal died out. Andreas Kisser always was the band's heart and there is no discussion, before Andreas joined, Sepultura was just a terrible copy of Sodom. Max was a excellent frontman, but that's more than 20 years ago already.

The words 'Real Sepultura' get thrown around a lot but let's deconstruct it. In reality, Derrick has been in the band way longer. Max left by his own choice because his wife was putting royalties and promotion to him rather than the band and they called her on it. His own brother did, and stayed with the band for another decade. Max spat the dummy and left. In terms of 'real', Derrick stepped into massive shoes at the height of their fame. He stuck it out, put up with the criticism and kept true to the band and musical creation. The rest of the band stayed true to him. Max basically recreated Roots for another decade in his other projects. Arguably, Sepultura would not be around if Max stayed as the sound would have continued to be Roots clones and they would have imploded. On the flip side, Derrick and the rest dealt with the ups and downs, continued to write in different ways regardless of the hits and misses of commercial success. Now they are completely reinvigorated and have had a massive second wind in their career and are reaping the rewards of being 'real'. Max is sitting solo in his house calling them impostors or touring old Sepultura records while they collaborate with a variety of musicians and share optimism and stories.
