Against is, without a doubt, one of the most underrated metal albums of all time. Or, rather: unjustly maligned metal albums. Love the album so much. It feels so raw, so atmospheric, so underground, so unique. Great stories too, very nice idea for a video series.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for this Era of Sepultura....I think the material from 1998 up until now is outstanding and I have not been disappointed by any release from Against up to Quadra

as a long time Sepultura fan (ever since Beneath The Remains first came out), I have to say that I'm so proud of Derrick and all he's accomplished in Sepultura. ever since he joined, they just keep getting better and better and better. they lost a ton of fans back in 1998, but they have since earned back so much more than they ever lost when Max left... and that's no disrespect to the early period of the band, which I still love.

I basically started listening to Sepultura from Against times on. Although I really love the band's early records, I don't miss any members who left the band. It's just so awesome to have Smoke in the team for more than two decades now. Derrick's presence means a lot to me and that goes far beyond music. Just can't wait for Quadra gigs in Brazil when all this is behind us! \m/

I was introduced to Sepultura on the Tattoo the Earth Tour CD. Choke was the first song I ever heard and have been a fan ever since. Against is a masterpiece. I love A Pale Gray Sky. Roorback is legendary. With Max, post-Max, Sepultura has a spot in my heart and now I’m sharing them with my three and five year olds. Thank you gentlemen

Absolutely love this album, always have. So wish that the Noise Against Hunger concert had been released as an official concert video, looked amazing with such an incredible array of guests and a celebration of everything they've accomplished and fought through. I remember meeting Derrick after a show around 14 years ago (and seriously, literally the nicest guy in the world) and telling him how much I loved Against and especially how much I wished they'd play Boycott again live. The moment I told him that, his eyes just widened and he lit up with the biggest smile you've ever seen going "YES! I LOVE THAT SONG!" After seeing that Boycott has been back in the sets in the years that follows, I'd like to think, that maybe, just maybe, that conversation had something to do with it haha 🤩

Against was my first album from sepultura. I went to the supermarket with my mom and I saw against in “sale”. My mom loved a sale sticker so I asked if I could bring the CD home… she said yes, I think it was 10reais at the time. I was 11y old. It changed my perception of music and religion… I had no idea about sepultura vocal change… My favorite song is “reza” the only one in Portuguese with Joao gordo doing the vocals. (I didn’t speak English at the time) Derrick is lovely.

Sempre digo, respeito a história da banda, mas acho que os Cavaleras piraram na fama. Pra mim a formação atual é a mais redonda. Harmonia sonora, no respeito e na amizade. Sou muito fã do trabalho e da coragem que o Derrick teve em continuar o trampo do Max.

Eu acho que o que pega é que sempre tem comparação com a fase áurea, que não volta mais, tivesse ainda o Max ou não. Hoje, com a atual direção, a banda está mais coesa do que em muito tempo.

Against foi o primeiro disco do Sepultura que ouvi. Tinha 14 anos e um amigo me emprestou o cd. Nunca me esqueço do cagaço que levei quando entra a bateria na faixa-título! heheheheh! Foi muito foda ver eles tocando Against e Choke na turnê do Machine Messiah.

A Era Derrick é mto pouco valorizada, mas é a mais extensa e técnica da banda, amo todos os álbuns, em especial o A-Lex e o Roorback, mas o Against é incrível também, a maior banda nacional representando sempre

I know people love max and Igor , however I genuinely think Derek was the best thing to happen to sep , bare in mind Igor stayed with the band for many years after max quit , towards the end of his time in sep Igor had lost his love for drumming and metal in general , the way he played everything way ,way to fast was a clear indication he was not happy in the band , I can't remember the name of the drummer after Igor but before Eloy joined ,he was a breath of fresh air and it was visible to see how much happier Andreas and Paulo felt with a new drummer , then when Eloy arrived , well it was like he was meant to be in sep .
