Honestly this album and Quadra are waaaaay better than the 2 last Slipknot albums. Eloy did his choice to be more famous but musically was really bad. I can see how Sepultura, especially Andreas evolved to a more progressive musician to use all Eloy skills. They did a great work together. People blame Andreas as a person not grateful for hosting Eloy and saying Eloy was responsible for Sepultura to still exist but it’s completely BS. Andreas DID a great job too and let’s be honest both helped each other because Slipknot would never hear about Eloy if he was still playing in his previous band Glory. The only problem of the Sepultura is they are a Brazilian band. How? Brazil doesn’t give a shxt for metal bands. They have to survive by themselves. Brazilian media, entrepreneurs, music industry, all of them prefer shxt music so of course metal bands in Brazil struggle to survive and be more relevant to the international scenario. Congrats Sepultura for never changing themselves into these shxt music bands. Work hard for so long and of course for making good music. I’m 51 yo and love metal music all my life. Sepultura before and after are good for me. Stop being cry babies and embrace the good music

The only problem in Sepu was Derrick, bad voice, bad phrasing, bad stage presence. You can hardly understand what he growls, his highs are thin, his lows are muffled. Makes it hard to connect to the music. I love Dante, Messiah and Quadra, but would it be easier to love with a good singer. Still Andreas and Eloy were the dynamic duo, love their stuff.

Siempre pensé que el vocalista es el 50% de una banda, es el que le da la personalidad y el carisma, muchas bandas han cambiado de vocalista, pero casi siempre eligen una misma linea, un estilo parecido, pero en este caso no se parecen en nada..

It's not bad, but it has nothing to do with Sepultura. Sepultura set the styles and the industry. Unfortunately, after Max left, they never found each other again. They usually play songs from the old era at shows, but it's very obvious with the new records. The album is good but just a completely different band. It's a pity that Max, Andreas and Igor will never get together again and compose something!

Get over it man... Soulfly , Cavalera Conspiracy, none of them are Sepultura aswell ... You say about Max and Igor, but Andreas and Paulo still in the band , and theyre core of it aswell! You can say that Max its a fu***ng front man, and Igor a BEAST on the drums, but i dont think that Sepultura isnt Sepultura anymore... All the bands change througth time, even when all the players from original formation still playing... The sound mutate itself as people mature and time passby...

I gave it a listen, didnt like it, each song sounds like its from a different band so it doesnt sound like an album. Really like Max Cavalera Sepultura because those albums sound like albums not collections of jams and different styles, even roots.
