wouldn't the jet sweet fake on the second series second play cause the deep safety to possibly rotate negating a deep route like a go or post corner? just a thought

You would always draw up the play action shot based off the rotation or coverage adjustment you are expecting. The drawing is just an example of the theory of that play inside a sequence. Good observation and a valid point.

Just stick with it. Sometimes you gotta add something else to show yourself how it's working correctly and sometimes that other thing you add makes it work even better

Great stuff coach. Is this something you install before the season or something you put in during game week?
@CoachMac8 жыл бұрын
Certain sequences are installed early and others are game plan game week

Thanks coach. Do you every change the sequences up week to week? Or once they are in they stay the same?

Coach,Thanks for taking the time to share your videos on KZbin. They are very informative and I have been trying to absorb as much as possible from them as well as some of the other coaches that share such as yourself.I am a youth football coach in Texas, I coach middle school aged boys (12-14 years old). About a year ago, I transitioned to a spread offense utilizing some RPO concepts that I picked up at coaching clinics and online. While I have had success transitioning to this system, I feel like I have struggled a bit implementing the concepts in practices with the boys and even in some cases my offensive assistant coaches. Through your videos, I have picked up some ideas on how to build my practice drills, by positions, and then implement those position drills into the plays I want to implement for the season. I learn best through visualization and repetition. Any videos you can share after your white board sessions would be appreciative. I really liked the Up-tempo football drill video you shared. It was good to see it on the white board first, then your practice film sessions of how it was implemented. Anything you can share about practice sessions for a particular play or set of plays that you use would be awesome. I am very interested in what each offensive position practices (drills) to prepare for a particular play.I would love to see those zone clips if you can share.thanksCoach Kevin

I have a question. at 17:09 if we were to substitute our WR wouldn't the other team have the option to substitute ? Also in my opion I wouldn't substitute the WR because my guy is going to be well conditioned to not be tired in the third play of the sequence while the CB might have hands on hips wanting a break that gives me a great opportunity to pick on him further.

Sub rules are not identical in HS and College. I understand the conditioning point, have to hope we work way harder than they do. A fresh WR from our sideline will definitely have a chance
