do you have the n+1 in parentheses? (-1)^(n+1)

All you have to do is type in zeros such as: Expr: 0 Variable:0 start:0 end:0 step:0 Paste Press enter. Once you are back to the homescreen, you can then replace the zeros with the appropriate numbers.

Vanessa S. That just gave me an error when I put in numbers. Or do you mean equations, because I don't need 5 different equations lol

What about a sequence that is equal to A(n+1)=some formula?
@Nikifuj9084 жыл бұрын
Plug m - 1 for n. You get A( (m - 1) + 1) = A(m). Then just replace m with n when you put it in your calcumalator.

im getting an error when trying to doe the sequence ((n+3)/n) for the first 10 terms

Be sure n starts at 1, not zero. If you have n start at zero, you will have division by zero.

Is it possible to have the calculator give the limits of a sequence?

You might try the symbolic computation version of the free, open source, math package called REDUCE. www.reduce-algebra.com/ Probably it is also possible with www.sagemath.org/ that includes the www.sympy.org/en/index.html
