Let's go over Shirin's gameplay! Shall we? Pre Jury: Votes out Aaron (African American) Votes out Missy (African American) Votes out Sepei (African American) Aggressively targets Albert for multiple rounds - Michelle stops her from doing so as she tells her it's a bad look to target POC the entire game. Shirin's response? "Ugh, fine.... just keep all the women around then" Note she does not specific POC women, but simply women. Jury: Votes for Adam to go home 3 times. Consistently targets Adam through multiple rounds, as she says he won't mind bc they are friends outside the game. Talks about how much she loves him, but it is a game move. Adam at final 5 decides to vote out Shirin. Shirin throws a hissy fit at jury! Michelle tells her that Adam is justified since she targeted Adam for multiple rounds. F2: After the finalists are just finished talking about how this is the most fun they've had in months, Shirin calls them both out for being 2 white men and they should not be celebrating. She bashes Adam and says what a bad look it was for him to target the only POC at final 5 (something she of course would never do). Adam ends up crying during his final question and the entire night is dampened by untrue allegations by Shirin. I used to be a Shirin fan, but there have been far too many instances of this for no one to call her out. Totally unacceptable and she does a disservice to BLM and various moments with this disgraceful night of "gameplay/social activism" whatever she intended.

Larry Sanders, J G, Derek Kee.....Shirin didn't do anything wrong, yeah she made mistakes that she didn't own up to. She was speaking from her own life and no one can take that away from her. She also publicly apologized on twitter and regretted some of her decisions. This sort of reminds me of sugar's performance in gabon and people trying to target the victim when it's the bully at fault. In a game that is designed to have fun, like what adam said, "Life does blend into it." and let me guess you're all white guys (ps i am too, but this is what drives racism further is by not hearing and accepting everyone's story and trying to push their own beliefs).

The ups and downs I experienced with Michele during this stream... the dominant pre-jury queen, the recognition of her White privilege and her ability to get the target off of Albert, the messy jury* exit, the lack of social distancing during a crucial time of COVID, the WILDNESS of that entire jury feed, the bitter juror, and the loving friend. Insane. Definitely a legend, and if this Sequester is anything to go off of, it's that Michele is legitimately good at insulating herself within these games - Survivor or not (at least that's my perception). Good gameplayer or not to the general public, now we can't deny she's GOT star power. Crazy stuff, hope to see her back someday.
