This house is now mainly used for film shooting ( Bengali Film, Web Series, Hindi and South Indian Film ), occasion celebration or any kind of photoshoot. This house is also famous for it's history.

সময়টা সপ্তদশ শতকের শেষের দিক। শোনা যায় ভাগ্যান্বেষী ড্যানিশরা হুগলি নদীর তীরবর্তী একটি জঙ্গলাকীর্ণ জায়গায় এসে পৌঁছোয়। ব্যাবসায়ী দূরদর্শীতার কারণে তারা দেখতে পায় এই ছোট্ট জনপদটি তার মা-নদীকে কাজে লাগিয়ে অনায়াসে বন্দর হয়ে উঠতে পারে। বাংলার তৎকালীন নবাব আলিবর্দী খাঁ-এর কাছে ট্রেডিং লাইসেন্স জোগাড় করে থিতু হল তারা। গভর্নর কর্নেল ওলে বি-এর শাসনাধীনে একটা সুপরিকল্পিত সুসজ্জিত শহর গড়ে ওঠে, নাম হয় ফ্রেড্রিকসনগর। এই ফ্রেডরিক্সনগরই এখন শ্রীরামপুর, তবে এর গড়ে ওঠার ইতিহাস অনেক দীর্ঘ এবং তাতে শ্রীরামপুরের গোস্বামীদের নাম চলে আসা অবশ্যম্ভাবী। শ্রীরামপুর রাজবাড়ি আসলে এই গোস্বামীদেরই বাড়ি।কারা ছিল এই গোস্বামী বা গোঁসাইরা? কীভাবে শ্রীরামপুর রাজবাড়ির পুজো শুরু হল ...
