Check your 'braking' under settings or if ur using a controller, there may be a knob on the deck to do this... Adjust the setting for 'long or short' braking to make the track stop fast or slowly.

I've been DJing weddings for decades. Yeah, it's difficult to find tutorials on doing/setting up for a simple DJ mix. Beat mixing is far more important to DJs themselves than to 95% of the population. I'm looking for a controller to go along with Serato with the important things like: Can I get at least TWO XLR mix inputs (kind of important when handing wireless mics to people for toasts) ? And TWO main outputs. Who cares about jog wheels? Novation has a no-jog wheel mixer.

Hello, I was browsing the KZbin channel and found your posts on numark ns7 issues/or problems. I don't know where to start - New at this point - I was given this old numark ns7 controller - When powering on - It only turns the FAN on but nothing else - No lights or buttons lits. Does anyone know what can be the issue ? Did I buy a LEMON controller or can this be fixed - Its a heavy SOB hardware numark ns7 - (2009) Can it be used or its beyond repair ? This is going to sound stupid, but mine won't pause I have novation twitch and when I press the pause button the track just slows down and doesn't completly pause for about 30 seconds. is there anyway to change this?

Can someone tell me how to make the wave forms show on the left side or on the bottom of the screen. I trie going to the the Display setup and I did click Left Vertical waveform, right vertical waveform and center vertical waveform and it doesnt work at all. I tried it with and without the hardware connected. Does anyone know how to make the waveforms appear on the left side of the window or the lower bottom of the window?

Beginners should never use such things, the 1st thing anybody ;earning should do is learn to sync trax with their ears ! Otherwis they think there is no need to learn to do it manually. i wonder how many 'professional' djs these days cudnt beat match to save there lives ? Im guessing quite a few.
