How come if N1 and NOVA are dedicating all the program to protests? how come if several paper medias as Danas are doing same? In era or viral medias i see protests videos all over? RTS is doing same just you do not like amount of reportages? Do not troll here about political things. MUSIC before all.
@igortirkajla80423 күн бұрын
👆This is what we are facing on a daily basis. Armies of budget funded trolls paid to spread false stories- For example, this person is failing to mention how here we have several pro-government media who spread lies 24/7, personally targeting people, and giving ZERO chance to those critical to government to speak on these channels. Level of reporting is literally below the minimal amount of professionalism, and basic decency.
@bisiblisКүн бұрын
@@bebero1310 I am sure that you are well aware that N1 and Nova are cable televisions and have a very limited reach. As well as the Danas daily. RTS is the state broadcaster and they have been almost completely ignoring the protests, and what little they did cover was mostly supportive of the ruling SNS and SPS parties. They even aired a report claiming that the students are paid by foreign intelligence agencies, as well as a very misleading report claiming that somehow the red hand covered in blood that students in Serbia are using to call for government accountability is a symbol of Hamas, and shows support for terrorism. And this is just a small part of the smear campaign that has been led by RTS and the other stations with nationwide reach not only during these protests, but during all the others we had during the last 12 years since the extreme nationalists came back to power in 2012 and started dismantling still fragile democratic institutions (especially judiciary and prosecution and police) that we managed to establish in the period 2000-2012 despite the violent opposition represented in the Serbian Radical Party, now the ruling SNS party, who came to power in 2012 on a new pro EU platform and promises of fighting corruption. Little did we know that it will be exactly through corruption, organized crime and violence that they will manage to completely take over every institution and taking control over 90% of the media all the while accusing the couple of independent media critical of the government of working, together with the opposition parties, activists, and civil sector of wanting to destroy Serbia and install a government obedient to the West which will undermine Serbian independence and sovereignty represented in, according to them, a revisionist narrative towards history and especially the role of Serbia and Serbian nationalists in the breakup of Yugoslavia (Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo wars), rehabilitation and relativization of war crimes, creating what they call the Serbian World, not to mention the support for Putin, Xi Jinping and Donald Trump, selling arms to Israel during the Gaza war, oppression of opposition, independent journalists and the civil society, who are being targeted as agents of Western influence, prosecuted and spied on, facing continuous threats of violence, and violence. In order to stay in power and avoid prosecution, the ruling party will stop at nothing including the use of media, RTS included, to spread a narrative that discourages political participation and voting, and promotes violence. Another issue is that people feel additionally frustrated for the lack if the concrete support of the EU, which seems to be hesitant to support the opposition fearing that faced with the loss of power, the regime might resort to violence and destabilize the entire region again (especially Kosovo and Bosnia)...Not to mention the lucrative Lithium exploitation deal that the EU and Germany were forced to make with the Serbian Regime in order to prevent the Regime from selling the lithium to China instead. Searching for just a few affairs that the ruling SNS and SPS party officials are involved in would help you understand that the current demonstrations are a culmination of frustration after the 13 years of corruption, oppression and abuse. To mention just a few: crash of military Helicopter in 2015, Savamala demolition, Belgrade Waterfront project, death house in Belgrade's neighborhood of Ritopek, Trial of Belivuk gang (with close ties to the ruling party and the police), murder of Stanika Gligorijević, Ribnikar school mass shooting, mass shooting in Dubona and Malo Orašje, murder of 5yo Danka Ilić, murder of Oliver Ivanović, demolition of Hotel Yugoslavia, Lithium exploitation project in Jadar valley, Belgrade Metro Project, Belgrade Expo Exhibition 2027, spying and surveillance of activists and journalists by the police and the intelligence agency using spy software (some of which were donated by the Norwegian government!), and finally Canopy Collapse at the Novi Sad train station. All of these cases involved organized crime, corruption and embezzlement of public funds and resulted not only in financial loss, but to the loss of lives. Hope this makes some sense.

The main problem with Dusan Kurtic is, maybe you know the meme about someone saying how beautiful Enrique Iglesias is, and someone else replies - you can find a guy like that at my local gas station. It is similar with Dusan. In Serbia, that kind of folk music is very popular, and we have hundreds of singers just like him. You can find one like Dusan at almost every wedding in Serbia. Don't get me wrong, Dusan is good at it, but these kind of songs, and his kind of voice, is not that rare here. Reason he stands out to you is because singers like that usually don't compete for Eurovision, and you don't get to hear them often. They go to other local competitions, that are probably much more famous in Serbia then Pesma za Evroviziju. Also, that kind of folk music in Serbia, has about same status as country music in the USA. So, you either enjoy it very much and have fun drinking all night to it, or you think it is for stupid people from rural areas. There kinda is no middle ground :D Sorry for the long post, here is a potato 🥔, and also ❤for students

Mimi Mercedes is a very popular singer, in fact by far the most popular in this year of PZE which is why she is rated so high, but the song is really not that great. The start is great but that's about it, 0 lyrics (yes,yes,yes,da,da,da,kiss,kiss,kiss,mwah,mwah,mwah), the song didn't go anywhere, the trumpet sound (exact same bit) was used in hundreds of popular songs since 2012 from similar artists and I'm so sick of hearing it, which is probably why I dislike the song so much. Ngl I'm very disappointed with the selection this year." Lensy - hvala ti" was the second back up (2 artists got disqualified), a decent song but lacks something, is somehow better than 95% . My personal favorite is Vukayla - MASK, we don't know much about her, all we know is that she comes from a musical family so I hope the live performance is gonna be way better than the studio version kinda like how last year Teya Dora's studio version was mid at best but the live performance was 100x better. Got a few other songs that I like, but I guess we have to wait for the live performance before I judge them further.

Dont base your opoinion by views on balkan music. All biger singers buy views to pretend more popular than they are. In my opinion winer will be Mimi or Vukajla, i would say they both have 40% chances. Others need mumbo jumbo stage to catch those two. Princ can be a surprise becouse he is exelent singer and last time he had pretty good stage coreography. Of others small chance for tam, harem girls, kojić and bojana and david but they need never seen stage coreo and Serbia isnt well known for that. Other songs are feelers and ppl who are there just to promote becouse show is very popular in region.

You should have not included politics in this. This is a music competition. I am from Serbia and I can also tell you that this student situation is blown way out of proportion. A lot of Serbian disagree with them. They are just vocal minority. That is why you should have stayed away from politics.
@esc.norwayКүн бұрын
I can understand your point of view here, and I’m grateful for taking the time to enlightening me on the matter. At the same time, I did not do this from a political point of view but from one of solidarity. I have myself spent sic years of my life fighting the Norwegian state on behalf of my fellow students. The power inbalance in this types of matters is so schewed that solidarity matters. So I don’ see this as a political matter in that sense where two powers have different opinions, and I do not interfere in matters like that when both the parties possess a level og power. I hope you understand where I am coming from here and that you can er use me for this one statement of solidarity witch to me is a personal matter and not founded on ideological grounds.

@@esc.norway I am so tired of the vocal minority argument that the extremists and right wing bigots are trying to use to dismiss the idea of an inclusive, diverse and tolerant society and silence and dismiss any kind of activism that doesn't fit their extremely exclusive worldview, usually based on the values set by the church. Not to mention that it is a notorious lie that the students protests in Serbia are not supported, and by an overwhelming majority, despite the defamation and the hate campaign led by the government officials, ruling parties, ruling party dominated and controlled organizations, hooligans, state media and private media owned by the ruling party loyalists who try to use their dominance to convince the public that there is no support for the demonstrations and justify violence and abuse of prosecution for unlawful and politically motivated prosecution and detention of protesters.
