The Serbian Orthodox Church from what I know in the vast majority, if not all, cases uses triple pouring for infant baptism rather than triple emersion. Idk why, and even though it's definitely not optimal, since it is done in a canonical Orthodox Church; it is done by an ordained priest; and it is done in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, it is a valid Baptism.

Very disappointing. That wasn’t a baptism. Baptism is total emersion in the water. I’m sorry that is not a Orthodox baptism .

@@sofijaprekovic9931 Don't listen when people argue about the small things. If you are baptized by a priest, with prayer, oil and with water - according to the law of your church - then it is right. If a person is put into water and there is no spirit and no praying to God, then that water won't do anything. It comes from the Holy Spirit of God.

Nikola Vuković is that your translation of a baptism? It’s only one type, and that’s total immersion in the water. That’s what the canons of the church say. Not the way anybody wants to interpret. End of story.

@@nikolavukovic3149 , their is ONLY one baptism, whether it’s an infant Oran adult. Total immersion. Splashing as you state is done ( and I’m sure you are confused with the holy water agiasmos). Of course anyone can translate baptism in which ever way it suits them. The catholic’s say their baptism is canonical, but the fathers of the Orthodox Church say it’s not. Whether they are Greek, Serbian, Russian Orthodox the doctrine or in other words the laws that are set forth from the fathers is the same. That is and because they think( all those mentioned above) that baptism is a tradition.
