I absolutely loved how they handled bruce's character in this game. It feels like they did his character more justice here than in the MCU.

It's because his character isn't really kid friendly and all that other bullsh*t they give as a reason. The first Incredibles movie had a character trying to commit suicide , but a character with childhood trauma is too much apparently.

@@ryanbobadilla2527 I feel like Ragnarok is also to blame. That shifted hulk from a raging monster to a big baby for comedic aspects. I wish they would've kept some aspects true to the comics like how Hulk actually protects Bruce instead of being just a character/child that was born out of the gamma. Hulk should've been thinking and smart on his own even without Bruce, like how in the game it shows that the Hulk is actually a thinking being that communicates with Bruce and mourns the death of cap. This game really let me see all the wasted potential in the MCU.

Who knew of all the voice actors to cast, Troy Baker would make an excellent Bruce Banner. His voice is so soothing and constantly calm. Like he doesn't want to raise his voice to avoid even a slight chance of him getting upset.

Fun fact: Troy Baker automatically assumed that he would be playing either Hawkeye or Loki, but when the developers clarified that he would be playing neither, Troy was like “I think you have the wrong number. I can basically do either of these two.” And then the developers said he would be playing Bruce banner, to which Troy said “Yeah, you’ve definitely got the wrong guy.” He didn’t want to negatively affect his voice by imitating the hulk, to which the developers clarified that he would only be playing Bruce Banner, not the Hulk.

I love the characterisations in this game everyone feels so right, not just the modern interpretations of the characters from the mcu but good ol classic comic everything feels right they feel like the people I read about when I was a kid, but more than that they feel like fully fleshed out people like Kamala really does feel like an awkward teen and a big ol nerd it’s great you can see yourself in her

I really like how Banner acts like a concerned dad to kamala. With that said I really hope SE or whoever is doing the patch work on this game fixes the GD subtitles. Also why are there subtitles for actions such as Hulk sitting down to catch his breath and other crap like that. The only people that would benefit from that would be blind people and it would have to be spoken not written in text.

My guess is that the original script called for Cold War, but when it got said aloud it didn't fit so they cut 'Cold' from it, hence why the next conversation's continued Cold War metaphor, and the subtitles never got updated.

The subtitles are broken as hell tbh. They describe events we can clearly see, and a lot of the time they don't match up with the actual dialogue.

Safebox Gaming That seems to be because the subtitles are directly copied and pasted from the script and onto the game, meanwhile voice actors and actors in general tend to improv a lot of their lines and go off script just a bit hence the difference.

yeah they really messed up thor's height in this game. He is way taller than everyone else except for the hulk. bruce banner is the one who is supposed to be a midget lol. MCU got it more accurate to the comics at least there hemsworth is quite a bit taller than the rest

She's literally a child going into avenger-level threats. Its kinda awesome/funny how all of them together try to fit the role of one parent which is her dad at home. At least the avengers don't act like batman and know the danger in putting kids in these situations. But that line of Kamala making bruce happier is a little creepy

Christopher Washington Well considering how emotionally repressed Bruce is and the fact that when he does interact with Kamala he is a bit happier the phrasing could have been done a bit better I admit but I never really get any romantic vibes that people keep insisting. Especially when you realize that Kamala not only idolizes Hulk but Banner as well those who know the comic know Banner isn’t as respected in the scientific field or as recognized compared to Richards and Stark considering his other half usually gets all the heroic glory. She even ask him for help with homework out of everyone she could have asked she went to Bruce. So yeah she does bring out a light in him that I think most kids can do for adults. Their innocence and optimism can be infectious that way
