That started a big thing, the press, was trashing her everyday, bukkingham palace would not rectify the story when Meghan asked them to, they told her that they could not do that because Kate was going to be a queen, and they did not want her name dragged through the mud, so it seems that it was okay for Meghan's name to be dragged with a lie, and they did continue to trash her, Harry asked to speak to the queen, she refused, no one else would help, Meghan got so sick she wanted to take her take her life, that was when they decided to leave. The Oprah's interview was the only way to defend herself , I am glad she did It.

You are very much mistaken about their titles. Harry and Meghan still have their titles, they have not been "stripped" of them, but they no longer use HRH. It would take an act of parliament for this to happen and it hasn't. The queen gifted them three titles, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan is also Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kilkeel. To be stripped of their titles is a much bigger thing and this hasn't happened. Even the murky Andrew still has his titles despite all the abhorrent scandals
