When you think about it, no matter what Serena thinks about Darrin, she didn't want Sam to be hurt bcuz she knows Sam loves him, so therefore, she actually must approve of the marriage. Gotcha Serena!

Nonsense. Samantha met Darren, fell in love, and married him. It had nothing to do with rebelliousness, which was evident from the very first episode. Her relationship was borne of Love. But the writers had to make the series last, and the only way it was going to last was with Darren being put into situations around Samantha’s witchcraft. And most of that came from Endora’s meddling. But I do agree that he was a misogynist.
