I'm inspired by strong women who aren't afraid to speak out when they need help. There's been so much shame associated with mental health which kept people from seeking help. After giving birth twenty years ago I experienced deep feelings of despair and depression, but was told off by a friend that I had no reason to feel sad. Nowadays there are more awareness and empathy for mental health sufferers and I'm glad for that.

I know where she's coming from, because I had all those feelings as well after my first daughter was born. It's not easy to feel ok, but it's not impossible either! It definitely takes time and lots of soul searching, meditation, and a close relationship with Jehovah, that's what pulled me through! My priorities changed, I was no longer living for myself or receiving praise from others, like in the past. You realize that now you're responsible for a human being, that can be scary and overwhelming, but with my priorities in the proper place, the depression and that dark fog over my head has finally lifted! But it doesn't happen overnight, it takes time and patience! Hang on Serena 🙏🙏🙏

People show some compassion, depression, or mental illness have nothing to do with your income your lifestyle, how much money how famous you are mellow illness and depression is in the mind not what you have is a state read up on it for all you foolish people that saying, she has so much and you’re being a mother also and working and all of that you are blessed that you don’t have issues that’s why people don’t talk about it because of the silly comments the rude and stupid comments that people make making people feel bad about what they have has nothing to do with how they feel is emotions. Some of the comments that been make are reason we have loss some many wonderful people. Plead the blood of Jesus over Serena and her family just trust God and he’ll bring you out of it have faith and let the peace and joy feel you and laugh. Find something to laugh about each day be happy.
