Thanks for the upload. This was back in the day too that in USA, CBS would tape delay the match by an hour. They'd play the first 5 games of the set, and then be like, "Due to time constraints we move ahead to Jennifer serving for the set." The would do something similar in the second set.

Jennifer just had everything against her with Serena and Venus in Miami. She had 8 MPs against Venus in '01 and lost, then played Serena in the finals in '02 and '03 and lost them both too. LOL.

No! Sharapova is not the queen of tennis. She's only won 5 Grand Slams & she's beatable. Her skill set on court is mediocre. Sharapova is a good player with a Mental Stength attitude on the court. She will fight til the end but you know it's a 50/50% chance she will lose depends on her opponent.

not really. The girls on tour now are just as athletic but are definitely, on average, much stronger, biggers with beefier serves than the generation of the 2000's

For sure. Serena's serve has withstood the the of time for decades. Venus and Serena were the best athletes by far at their peak. Before them was Steffi Graf. The only reason Rybakina and sabalenka are flourishing now is because no one is around to stop them. LIke Peak Ash Barty and Osaka. Even an older serena in 2021 thrashed sabaelnka.
