Serenade has some bad reviews online with people saying there isn't much to do any it's for old people - I disagree. I went May 2023 with my wife and kids, lots of young families, lots fun would recommend!

Last month I was in Coco Cay and the Serenade was docked with us. Just looking at the outside of the ship, I really hope they do a dry dock before going on the world cruise. Was looking a bit rough on different areas on the outside. Kudos to RCL for picking this size ship for their world cruise.

It’s a very small ship and it didn’t have a lot of activities, we were pretty bored especially during sea days

I’ve got some great memories from the Brilliance and Serenade a few years ago. I loved the golf after being in the Vortex until late, stargazing at the deck just in front of the spa area and 6am breakfasts at the outdoor Windjammer area following an all-mightier with great company. Still to go on the larger ships but, the staff were always amazing on them!

If I have this correct for the world cruise and the segments of the world cruise there is a pharmacy on board. So do people get their medications filled and brought onto the ship at different ports or do people need to have a several month supply of their medication before boarding?

@@VanillaAttila I should also say I’m 18 so my opinion of fun might be a little different than yours lol, but the food on the boat is really great and there’s a nice casino and nightclub you guys might like. There are also some really cool excursions that you can do at the ports (but some of them can add up in money quickly) But yea I think it would definitely be an experience you guys would like, we only experienced bad rocking one night on the serenade but even then it wasn’t too bad in my opinion.

I love Danny's videos, but won't be calling his agency any more. I have tried twice to set up cruises with this agency and both times waited at least two days for them to call me back. This last time, extra hoops had been added to jump through. I was expected to make an appointment to talk to one of the agents on the phone. Sorry. I'm done.

I was meant to sail on the SOS from Sydney to New Zealand in 2020 but COVID. We still can’t cruise in Australia and we are desperate to sale. Emails I received from Federal members state that it’s up to the state governments of my country to approve measures so we can sale. Then I got an email from our state representative who stated it was up to the Federal government because they are in charge of pandemic restrictions. ( I sent a petition to my state member in protest of jobs being lost here like the suppliers and part workers as well as crew who if they stop cruising here will potentially loose their jobs) Basically they keep saying they are talking monthly but not making any decisions because they think this is the job of the other. I have rebooked for 2023 on the Quantum from Brisbane to New Zealand and I’m hoping our politicians can pull their heads out of their arses and make a decision to restart cruising. All of Australia is open now to the double vaccinated so we can’t see any issue with restarting cruising and we are able to fly to NZ without quarantining if vaccinated.

u can choose shorter world cruises, they have some available for 9 night-28 nights. then some for 30+ days, then some for months
