@@Filipsoon Theres different ways to progressive overload/ train hard before increasing the weight tho. Like instead of moving up to the 30s after curling 25s for 12 reps you dont *have* to increase weight to increase intensity necessarily. Like you can do pause reps and now you might only get 7 reps and you can keep progressing on that until you can do that for 12 reps before moving to 30s. A lot of people just dont take the time to grind out their training at each weight and truly mastering it before progressing is what he means i believe, because after all you can only increase weights for so long so you might as well get the most growth out of the lighter weights to hone the technique, mind muscle connection and take your time up to the heavy weights so you can lift those weights with more meaning one day.

@@Filipsoon this works only for some people. As a bodybuilder and a issa personal trainer, I can tell you that the comment below yours is correct to some degree. Basically, do what works for you whatever style that is. Some guys grow under heavy weights some by light weights high reps whatever gets your body to feel like it's extremely heavy. I do as heavy weights as I can for 8 reps then throw cheat reps past failure nearly every set. I get great results. Might not work for you though.

Joe and Ben Weider did everything they could to make sure that the great Sergio Nubert did not win the 1975 Mr. OLYMPIA .. including excluding his participation because they couldn’t control him and didn’t think he was a marketable as Arnold and Lou.. but this great bodybuilder maintained a top notch physique into his 1970s-- amazing man !

Serge was more aesthetic, but Arnold definitely had the size advantage and presentation skills on that day to win over the judges. What's unique here is that Serge can easily challenge aesthetic competitors like Frank Zane and muscle guys like Arnold at the same time. It's like he was able to master the best of both styles.

That was powerful especially at the end..God is not tired so you should not be tired (you are created in the image of God). I've looked up a bunch of body builders and none mentioned (aside from another guy I forgot his name) God (they didn't have to), but we can see here how he incorporated the bible into his training. Never would I thought Genesis 1:26 be incorporated into body building. This perspective shows us the ability God has given us. The mind of God is unlimited and "not tired" or weak. Wow. Arnold would have never been if Serge was given a chance to really compete.

I really think what stood out with Arnold that made an influence on the judges was his huge biceps. Because Serge and Sergio Olivia out bested him in probably all other areas. Serve had an excellent mind as well.

And What is Tragic These Supermen and Women, we all Love as Olympic and Power-lifting and Bodybuilding Champions are Hero's of Mine, and if you Love Lifting You can Not Help but Love their dedication with Arnold and Serge Both Hero's of Mine But Both used huge doses of Steroids. Serge and Arnold both and Arnold is still Alive lived into there 70's, No a Major Question is Asked the Fact That a Nubret or Arnold might not have the Size or Muscle Density and Cuts without Drugs is key to Understanding the Risks the Mentzer Brothers took or a Don Ross Took was it worth it, maybe I do not know The Sums of Money For Shows is not incredible but when you add in a Dexter Jackson Earnings his worth is probably close to 12 Million and Rising and he has not won a Mr. Olympia Yet. So as drugs become more prevalent in every Sport even Tennis and Golf, I have not a Clue were we are going.
