The last tip - using the iPad with FCP - is brilliant. While I knew how to use it as a second monitor, it never occurred to me to use the iPad and Apple Pencil for Draw Mask. Definitely will make workflow easier. Thanks!

Thank you for always sharing such great tips...you've helped me so much over the years. Question; I have a mid 2015 15" Macbook Pro and it's getting a bit slow, so I think I need a new computer...unless you have any tips to speed it up. Is the new Macbook Air fast enough to edit video on. My videos are fairly short, 1.5 to5 minutes (I may start doing some longer videos...up to 10-15 minutes, mostly green screen of me, some video b-roll from download services, music and some text. Thank you for your advice.

Yes, I have over a dozen motion vfx plugins and they install with almost no effort whatsoever. They are truly the best, bar none.

You might be correct with the background renderer but at least when working with 8k RAW still images (hundreds of those) background rendering helps very much. This with M1 Max 64Gb.
