Thank you for making this … I knew it would be emotional .. and it is. AWESOME. UNREAL. WONDERFUL. ❤️❤️❤️ It’s beyond my comprehension that some people cannot see or feel this. Though I do have a theory about that 😉. A person has to be open to the extraordinary levels of emotion and energy that he is giving out. If you come to a live performance with a closed heart, you can refuse to connect with it. And will come away feeling angry even … it’s a big subconscious effort to shut him out.
@IndiaInk3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!!! 🥰 I’m so grateful and touched that you found it so moving. ❤️✨. Excellent thoughts and observations. I suspect you’re right. And if someone is intentionally shutting all this out, it is definitely their loss.

I agree with Fiona. When I watched this, I had the sound off so I totally was engrossed by watching. The emotion both facial and with his body is so strong that I think it scares people who are very closed off from their own feelings and they do not want to go there. Maybe that is why he is criticized, he makes people feel.
@IndiaInk3 жыл бұрын
Yes, how he makes people feel. ❤️✨. And for me, often expresses what I already feel but cannot adequately say. Such a gift. I often end up watching his dancing without the sound on, for various reasons and it’s not true what they say about people dancing without music look crazy. 😄. He carries the emotion and music in himself so well that to hear the music is only an added gift, not a necessity. 🌹✨

In my opinion he is more at ease in dramatic roles. Rudolph, Albrecht, Spartacus are his element. He inhabits each one of them with depth and sensitivity. In one interview he said that comedic ballets like Coppelia are “a waste of time” and yet he knows how to be light and humorous. His stage presence is impressive.
@IndiaInk3 жыл бұрын
He definitely knows how to make the most of dramatic roles. I love what you pointed out- depth and sensitivity. I find him delightful in comedies and hope his opinions of them have changed enough that he can enjoy those roles more now than he did a few years ago. 🙂 Because I’d love to see him in those too. 😁But whatever he chooses I’m thrilled we get the chance to see at least pieces from videos either that he or his audience shares. 🥰✨

In Alice's Adventures of Wonderland there is a PDD near the end of the last act. I love it. He looks so innocent, sweet and in love with Alice. He manage all kind of roles.

I love him in Alice in Wonderland. ❤️✨Love that ballet. Can’t use anything from the Royal Ballet in my videos for copyright reasons, or I’d definitely use scenes from that ballet at some point. He’s so sweet and innocent- how could she kick him out of the garden? 😔🌹 🥰

@@IndiaInk yes, understandable. RB is really hard about copyright. I've seen a lot of channels being canceled for it
@IndiaInk3 жыл бұрын
@DaliaSanchez. I do understand it, but it would be enjoyable to be able to use the high quality videos of Sergei. Although I of course wish they would release more, I am very grateful, though, that the RB have the six DVD/bluray recordings with Sergei’s performance available (Counting the three he’s a soloist in). Their Marguerite and Armand was the first full ballet of his I ever saw. ❤️ (While I was eagerly waiting for Alice to arrive in the mail. ♦️🐰 ❤️ )

EMOTIONAL MOMENTS: What do you think are some of Sergei's most emotionally moving performances? Were some of your favorites in this video? Which moments would you include in another montage?
@pinellafranich60073 жыл бұрын
I like him particulary in Spartacus, as the drunken Rudolph in Mayerling, in the Nutcracker and so on.Every and each one of his ballets are very touching. IIook foward to watching him live again in the foreseeable future.
@IndiaInk3 жыл бұрын
It is hard to choose! He brings so much to each performance. ❤️✨. I hope you get to see him perform live soon. And hopefully we can all see glimpses of videos from his upcoming Nutcracker performance soon. 🎄✨
@marinayeremeyeva3 жыл бұрын
I agree, Spartacus, Mayerling, M&A. For me, that little sheepish smile at the end of Rhapsody, that’s what made me fall in love with him in the first place. Some moments in Don Quixote. That kiss he blows in Coppelia. That’s actually another topic, Sergei the Charmer:) Are you not using his recent work? Because of course there’s a lot there.
@IndiaInk3 жыл бұрын
I’m already wanting to do a montage with his more light hearted humor and charming moments. I LOVE Coppelia!! 😁🥰 And all his charming light hearted moments in other ballets. They just didn’t fit with the overall mood of this piece. I also really wanted to include more recent work and the first draft of this video had Fraudulent Smile and Sacre in it, I had also planned to use Rasputin and Romeo and Juliet, but they all ended up clashing with the overall flow of the video and I felt it best to narrow down the selection to only a few ballets in order to give a sense of a story. Editing choices often mean me giving up some pieces I really like (which I had in that first draft) for the sale of the whole… I hope you enjoyed the end result enough to make up for the lack of more recent performances. ❤️✨

I don’t often make montages with Elena and Mir in them. My videos are usually of Sergei’s dancing. Sergei and Elena and Sergei’s mother post photos and videos of the family regularly on Instagram. Right now (December 16, 2021) Elena and Mir are with Sergei in Sevastopol for the Academy’s production of the Nutcracker, which Sergei is performing in.
